DC is currently vaccinating individuals who fall into the Phase 1C Tier 1 category, which includes those between the ages 16 and 64 years and older with a chronic medical condition. For-hire vehicles operators will be eligible to receive the vaccine in DC under the next category - Phase 1C Tier 2. Currently, there is no confirmed timeframe for Tier 2 opening. However, you are encouraged to take advantage of any category that you are eligible for to get vaccinated, either in DC or in the state in which you reside.
DC, Maryland and Virginia have different schedules and phases for the vaccine. Different groups are eligible depending on each jurisdictions’ definitions.
