Integrated Tax System Public Extract Data Changes from the Office of the Chief Financial Officer
Do you frequently reference the Integrated Tax System Public Extract (ITSPE) datasets? Please read below for some data changes coming soon.
Dear Open Data DC Users,
On Friday December 18, 2020 beginning at 9:00 PM, the Office of the Chief Technology Officer’s Data division and the Office of the Chief Financial Officer's Real Property Tax Administration (RPTA) will publish an updated Integrated Tax System Public Extract (ITSPE) dataset for the District of Columbia.
ITSPE stores comprehensive property related information such as ownership, mailing addresses predecessor lot(s), tax exemptions, mixed tax types, etc. This table can be used to review all active lots: Air Rights, Record lots, Of-lots, Tax lots, Parcels, Condominiums, Reservations, and Public lands both federally and District owned. With this update, also comes new attribution for the Common Ownership Lots and Condo Relate Table.
After December 18th, the update will show a few attribution changes that you should be aware of. If you have built ArcGIS Online web apps or call DC GIS map services directly in custom apps, you may need to make a modification. Possible modifications include any filtering based on attribution that will no longer be available. Click here to view change documentation (pdf). During this planned update, downtime is not expected. We will begin at 9:00 PM with an expected completion of 11:00 PM. In preparation, we have tested in development and staging environments where available.
