Job Summary:

Qualifications and Education
Candidates must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to the CS-11 grade level, or its non-District equivalent. Examples of specialized experience include experience: evaluating the applicability of precedents, or drafting briefs, litigation papers, advisory opinions, or findings; searching for and extracting legal references; and consulting prescribed sources of information for facts relating to matters of interest to the legal program.

Job Summary:
Serves as a Social Work Program Manager in the Child and Family Services Agency (CFSA), Office of the Deputy Director for Entry Services (ODDES), responsible for managing the delivery of direct professional social work services to children and families of the District of Columbia, including the areas of abuse and neglect. Directs core-line planning and management functions. Coordinates program operations through subordinate supervisors and social workers to ensure quality services related to the health, safety, well being, and permanence for the Child and Family Services Agency (CFSA).
Qualifications and Education
- A comprehensive knowledge of the child for children and families.
- It requires a thorough knowledge of related psychiatric, psychological and medical practices used in the evaluation and treatment of children and families.
- Requires a thorough knowledge of human behavior dynamics; sensitivity to cultural diversity, age, and religious differences affecting child rearing, family and kinship patterns, attitudes about illness, medical care and communication patterns to supervise social workers developing case plans, providing counseling and conducting home visits and investigations.

Train to be a Medical Assistant! Briya Public Charter School offers a Medical Assistant training program. The 12-15 month program prepares you for a career as a Registered Medical Assistant, working alongside doctors and nurses in clinics and hospitals.
To qualify for the Medical Assistant training program, you must:

Program Details:
- Classes are held Monday-Thursday, 6:00-9:00 p.m., at Mary’s Center’s Fort Totten site
