New & Updated Data for Contracts, Procurements and Purchase Orders
Open Data DC includes data from contracts, procurements and purchase orders. Read below to learn what is new and some of the changes to expect.
The DC Office of Contracting and Procurement (OCP) and the Office of the Chief Technology Officer (OCTO) have published datasets related to the District Government’s contracting and procurement - download here. The data is publicly accessible and provided as downloadable files or via API. Publication of these coincide with OCP's launch of the new Contracts and Procurement Transparency Portal.
OCP provides contracting services for selected agencies and offices in the District. OCP partners with vendors and District agencies to purchase quality goods and services in a timely manner and at a reasonable cost while ensuring that all purchasing actions are conducted fairly and impartially.

Special Note Regarding Contracts and Purchase Orders
Open Data DC has long shared purchase orders separated by Fiscal Year; however, Purchase Orders are now consolidated and re-published as one dataset found here. The consolidated layer includes data structure modifications to accommodate new attribution recorded by OCP. The Procurement Automated Support System layer was renamed to Contracts from PASS and also contains modifications to its schema.
