Erin Leveton has been selected as the DDS Deputy Director for Quality Assurance and Performance Management Administration (QAPMA). Erin has been with DDS for a little more than six years, starting out as the Legislative and Policy Analyst for the State Office of Disability Administration (SODA), now known as the State Office of Policy, Planning and Innovation (SOPPI). In that role, she worked with DDA and external stakeholders to develop many of our current policies and procedures, as well as worked with the City Council on legislation and our annual budget and performance hearings. Erin became the Program Manager for SOPPI and since then has worked with people throughout the agency to improve employment outcomes and increase community integration for people with intellectual disabilities; advance person-centered principles; manage waiver amendments and renewals; develop our Statewide Transition Plan; participate in national communities of practice; lead many opportunities for stakeholder engagement; and more. Prior to coming to DDS, she was the Legal Director at Quality Trust for Individuals with Disabilities and taught a course at Georgetown University Law School that she developed on Advocating with and for People with Intellectual Disabilities.

The Office of Policy, Planning and Innovation will transition to QAPMA, along with Erin. We are currently recruiting for a new program manager to take over this role.
