NextGen+ Los Angeles

Registration Ends Friday 12:00 PM

The Next Generation of Government meets this Monday, April 22nd, from 12:30 PM to 4:30 PM at The California Endowment in downtown Los Angeles. Does that include you? It should. As a subscriber and member of the Los Angeles Chapter of Young Government Leaders, I know you care. You care about your career, public service and the betterment of government overall.

Government employees just like us started YGL in 2003, over a couple of beers after work. They were young in their careers, fresh in their perspectives and knew Generation X and Y leaders were not your average bureaucrats. Today, YGL consists of over 5,000 members and is the premiere professional organization for young government employees, no matter where you are located. We know Los Angeles is unique. Although we have the largest population of government employees outside of Washington, DC, YGL-LA did not even exist two years ago. Today, this bulletin will be read by 316 young government employees in greater Los Angeles. Let's keep it going. Join your colleagues on Monday as a future leader of government.

NextGen+ Los Angeles is for the 316 of us, but there are only a handful of spots left. Check your schedule on Monday and register now. YGL-LA members can still use Promo Code LOOPED13 for $20 off of registration. www.nextgenla.eventbrite.com

→ Contest! Or... be the first person to post a picture of any YGL, GovLoop or NextGen swag on the YGL-LA Facebook Page and win free registration (t-shirt, button, pen, lanyard, etc.). If you are not first to post, do it anyway. We may pick a most creative post as well. Winner or winners will be notified on Thursday.

You still can't find the funds or get out of work? Join us for free at our government mixer on Olvera Street from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM after NextGen+ LA. First drink is on us. Details are on the registration page.

Now let me tease you with some of our speakers and sessions (Yes, I'm bragging)...
