Looking for a way to develop your leadership skills? YGL is seeking a highly energized and committed individual to serve as a Leadership Development Program Facilitator. The program facilitator plays a vital role in ensuring the Inspired Leadership Development Program is delivered with the highest levels of excellence and satisfaction of program participants. The Program Facilitator is responsible for the overall facilitation of the program sessions.
FY 20 Programmatic Goals:
1. To prepare entry to mid-level (GS-7-GS-11 or equivalent) public servants to focus on the challenges of government by developing new skills and encouraging meaningful relationships.
2. To cultivate professional cross-agency connections
YGL Leadership Development Program Facilitator Responsibilities:
● Assist in participant selection
● Coordinate program logistics
● Plan events for the Leadership Development Program
● Facilitate program sessions
● Communicate with participants
● This individual will receive all program materials, schedules, and agendas from the Leadership Development Program Director.
YGL Leadership Development Program Facilitator Requirements:
● Ability to devote 8-10 hours/month to the YGL position
● Experience in management, operations, event planning, and leadership
● Understanding of leadership development
● Excellent communication and customer skills
● Ability to facilitate 4 out of 6 leadership development program sessions on a Saturday
