YGL-LA Meetup Group

The first YGL Meetup took place at Bottega Louie.  Nancy YGL-LA VP discussed past YGL-LA activities and upcoming mentoring opportunities.  People engaged in wonderful networking.  We discussed collaboration with both the EEOC and the National Black MBA Association (NBMBAA) in their mentoring program.

We also discussed cross promotional events with Brandon from the EEOC. We discussed how to work more efficient and set goals. Bottega Louie had an amazing choice of coffee, pastries and beautiful macaroons..

June 28 Mentoring Event

The mentoring event which was held on June 28, 2018 at Pier 76 Fish Grill in downtown Long Beach, CA was enjoyed by all that attended.  During the event all attendees received incredible insight into utilizing professional and ethical standards in service of the mission.  Inspiring/informative stories were shared by Federal  management with all attendees.  New bonds and lasting partnerships were formed at the event.  Following the mentoring event success, YGL-LA is committed to keeping the event going on an annual basis.  Be on the lookout for future event updates.

 Happy Networking!
