2018 YGL Mentoring Program Taking Applications

YGL will be accepting applications for a six-month mentoring program starting on May 6th. The program pairs YGL members with a member of the US Senior Executive Service.  For more information and how to apply, please contact YGL's Chief Learning Officer,  Lenka Koss @lkoss@younggov.org.

New Emerging Leader  Online Program

The Partnership for Public Service is offering a new online leadership development program called Preparing to Lead. Participants who are early in their government careers (GS 7-11 or equivalent) practice strategies to help them become more effective employees and develop critical leadership skills they will be able to use throughout their careers. This five-month, online program will include sessions on emotional intelligence, managing conflict and creative problem-solving to name a few.
