Looking to escape the chilly weather or get a jump start on your New Year's fitness goals? Weld County has several indoor recreation centers that offer fitness classes for all ages, indoor swimming pools and equipment to stay active. From drop-in pickleball at the Carbon Valley Recreation Center to an indoor track at the Windsor Community Recreation Center, there is plenty to do and discover.
Greeley Recreation Center
Swim a lap, get some cardio in or increase flexibility with mat Pilates at the Greeley Recreation Center. Classes are offered in various formats and focuses: aqua fitness, mind and body, strength and conditioning, cardio, dance and SilverSneakers® for older adults.
Location: 651 10th Ave., Greeley
Cost: Admission is $6 for adults and $5 for youth (6-17), seniors (60+) and military. A 20-visit card is $96. One-month, three-month and annual memberships are available. Membership includes access to the Greeley Recreation Center and Family FunPlex.
The Greeley Family FunPlex is not your average recreation center. Their indoor waterpark includes play structures, massive waterslides and a water basketball hoop. Additionally, the Fieldhouse is outfitted with multi-purpose flooring to accommodate different sports, including basketball, volleyball and badminton, as well as the equipment for inline hockey and soccer.

The Erie Community Center has many amenities, including individual and group fitness programming, an indoor playground, a drop-in climbing wall, a full-court gymnasium equipped with basketball and volleyball nets and an indoor pool complete with a lazy river and hot tub.
Location: 450 Powers St., Erie
Cost: Beginning Jan. 1, 2025, adult day passes are $6 for residents and $7 for non-residents. There are also 10-visit punch passes, monthly and annual passes with discounted rates for youth, seniors, couples and families.
City of Evans Recreation Center/Community Complex Gym
The Evans Community Complex features a full-size gymnasium and a cardio/weight room, which are open to the public. Fitness classes include Zumba, often referred to as a dance fitness party, and Total Body Blast, a circuit-style weightlifting class. The complex also houses year-round youth sports and the Evans Senior Center, which offers fun and educational activities for free.
Location: 1100 37th St., Evans
Cost: Drop-in prices are $5 for adults and $4 for youth (6-15) and seniors (50+). Punch passes for 15 or 30 visits are also available. Fitness classes, which are 8-week sessions, are $48.
The Eaton Area Community Center is truly a space for the whole family. From fitness classes for expectant mothers to couples yoga and a family-oriented competitive bootcamp, there is a wellness opportunity for everyone, from the youngest to oldest guests.

Cost: Adult single day passes begin at $5.50 for those within the district and $7.50 for those outside the district. Active adult (60+), family/household and youth day passes are also available.
The Carbon Valley Recreation Center aims to engage the community in a fun environment. Ring in the new year and meet new people with a drop-in sport, from pickleball to 18+ full-court basketball or embrace your inner child with a 16.5-foot aqua climbing wall.
Location: 701 Fifth St., Frederick
Cost: Drop-in rates for adults are $5.50 for those that live within the district and $8 outside of the district. Passes for 10- and 20-visits are also available at a discounted rate. Active and retired military receive 15% off drop-in admission and passes.
The Johnstown Community YMCA (The Y) is the place to get your heart rate up and get your body feeling good after one too many cookies. Get a full-body workout using the resistance of the lazy river pool or opt in for some intense cardio with a cycling class. Other amenities include a basketball gym and indoor running track.

Cost: Annual memberships begin at $30 a month for youth and seniors and $41 a month for adults.
As part of the Thompson Rivers Parks & Recreation District, the Milliken Athletic Complex (MAC) and Johnstown Activity Center (JAC) come together to provide fitness and fun for all ages. Drop in for a bootcamp, Zumba or chair yoga class at the JAC, or hop on the treadmill, rowing machine or Peloton bike in the cardio room at the MAC before a free pickleball class.

Milliken Athletic Complex, 320 Centennial Dr.
Cost: Daily drop-in rates begin at $5 for adults and $3 for seniors. There are also 10-visit punch and one-month unlimited fitness pass options.
This recently renovated and expanded facility boasts a 4,060-square-foot, zero-depth entry leisure pool, an indoor rock climbing wall and boot camp programs for teens and adults. On the less active end, check out a mason jar meal prep class or a monthly craft class.

Cost: Daily drop-in rates begin at $5 for adult residents and $6 for non-residents. General pool access is free with admission. Some fitness classes have an additional fee.
The Windsor Community Recreation Center features fitness rooms with Cybex cardiovascular and weight equipment, an indoor aquatic facility with a water slide and hot tub, two gymnasiums and an indoor track, perfect for walking or jogging.
