Kids camp

Royal Family Kids Camp

For most, June is the kickoff for summer. For 80 kids this June, it will look far different than it ever has before! For the past 35 years, Royal Family Kids Camps have taken place across the world. Three years ago, two churches in Northern Colorado have lead the charge to host two camps, that this year will total 80 kids.

On June 18th, 60 volunteers from 8-10 churches will host a camp for 36 children from Weld County foster care and kinship care. This is a week where the kids will be shown the value, dignity and worth they can find in God. They will be able to be kids for a week!

They will not have to worry about things that in their day-to-day they have to. They will not have to take care of anyone; and they can leave all of their worries behind. Each child will have the opportunity to swim, play outside and participate in a talent show!

This week is a transformational week for these kids. The hope that they find during this week, they take back home with them, and it leads to attitude and action change for each of them.

Please pray for us as we prepare and as we have a week of camp, where 36 kiddos can be kids! Our hope is that this week will be a week of joy and fun for them, and a week they can tell their friends about for years to come!

If you would like more information about the camp or have any questions, contact Nate Taverner at nate@timberlinewindsor.org or visit our web site: https://rfk.org/locations/colorado/windsor/.

Veteran's Alliance Needs Volunteers

Spread the word throughout your organization and faith community that The Veteran Alliance needs volunteers. It is a Vet-to-Vet nonprofit in Northern Colorado with a group of successful Vets joining together with other vets in need.

The Veterans Alliance is an entrepreneurial non-profit
organization of Vets for Vets with a set of programs and joint ventures such as "Disabled and Challenged Veterans Fly Fishing Program." The organization is also a networking/referrals group through its Vet members and affiliate partners. The referrals are based on actual Veteran results and experiences with various entrepreneurial Vet services groups and public agencies. The Alliance also holds its own events and acts as a pool of Vet-to-Vet volunteers, and friends focus on having fun while serving the Vets and their communities and families.
