DRAFT ACP READY
FOR REVIEW
A draft of the Freedom Parkway Access Control Plan document is now available for review on Weld County’s Freedom Parkway webpage.
This Access Control Plan (ACP) is being developed to supplement regulations regarding access to Freedom Parkway found in the various municipal and county codes by analyzing safety conditions, existing access, and alternative (side road) access. The primary goal is to improve safety on the corridor, but the ACP also works to:
· Coordinate road improvements
· Promote economic vitality
· Protect infrastructure investments
· Maintain the functional integrity of the corridor by reducing traffic conflicts and improving
traffic flow
In short, the ACP is being developed to ensure adequate safety, mobility, and capacity on the corridor.
ADDITIONAL PUBLIC MEETING DATES ANNOUNCED
Two additional public open house meetings have been scheduled as follows:

June 14, 2018 from 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. at
Milliken Town Hall (1101 Broad Street, Milliken)

June 28, 2018 from 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. at the
Riverside Library and Cultural Center (3700 Golden Street, Evans)
Each open house will include a short formal presentation as well as updates from each of the communities along the corridor.
