to September and the kick-off to arguably the best time of year in Weld County!
And even though summer is winding down and the kids are back in school, there
are still lots of great activities going on throughout the county including our
favorites – corn mazes and pumpkin patches!

ANDERSON FARMS (ERIE): Corn maze, pumpkin patch, hayrides,
barnyard pedal karts, farm animals, gem mining, Terror in the Corn: haunted
hayride and ghost town, zombie paintball hunt and much more! Open daily from September 21 – October

TIGGES FARM (GREELEY): Choose your favorite pumpkin from the
pumpkin patch. They even have pink pumpkins! Don’t forget to pick up some the
roasted green chilies and other produce-stand favorites after you tour the farm

MAZZOTTI FARMS (HUDSON): Explore their scare-free corn maze,
pumpkin patch, create your own scarecrow, petting zoo and more! Open Saturday and Sunday from October 1

FRITZLER'S CORN MAZE (LA SALLE): Pumpkin patch, campfires, pig races, zombie

MILLER FARMS (PLATTEVILLE): Fall Harvest Festival - “Be a farmer

TAKE A WALK BY THE WATER
Colorado may be a land-locked state, but that doesn't mean we don't love being near the water. Weld County has several great paths around rivers and lakes where we can enjoy the outdoors near the water yet close to home. Check out the list we've put together and then get out and enjoy our great outdoors!
Frederick Recreation

Poudre Trail:
This 21-mile trail follows the Cache la Poudre River from Island Grove Regional
Park in Greeley west through Windsor where it eventually connects to a paved
trail in Larimer County. Foxes, raccoons, coyote and deer all live along the
river and could be spotted along your walk, run or bike ride. http://www.poudretrail.org/index.php
St. Vrain State Park:
multiple trails, such as the Muskrat Run Nature Trail, Bald Eagle Pond Trail,
Coot Pond Trail and Pelican Pond Trail, wind around ponds and lakes providing

Windsor Lake: After you enjoy summing and paddle boarding
on Windsor Lake, you can take a relaxing walk around the 2.25 mile trail that
