2024 Audited Financial Statements
- Results from the 2024 audit, conducted by McMahan and Associates, was presented to the Town Council. The Town received a clean audit, with no management notes.

Shoshone Water Rights Discussion
- Andy Mueller, general manager of the Colorado River District, gave an update on the status of a collaborative effort to obtain and preserve the historic Shoshone water rights as an in-stream flow. Town Council expressed interest in joining the Shoshone Water Right Preservation Coalition.

Discussion of Ord. No. 12, Second Budget Supplemental of 2025
- The largest change since first reading is a $100,000 expenditure for time-sensitive rockfall mitigation work on town-owned land on the north side of Lions Ridge Loop, near the Timber Ridge development site. Council was supportive.

Discussion of Ord. No. 14, Major Amendment to Special Development District No. 4, Vail Cascade to Allow for the Development of a Mixed-Use Development at 1276 Westhaven Drive, known as Cornerstone
- This item was tabled to July 1, 2025.
Town Manager Report
- As part of the Town Manager report, the Town Council received an update on the first month of the Timber Ridge EHU credit program; learned that the Vail Public Library will resume Sunday hours; and heard an overview of the upcoming Fire Free Five community outreach campaign.
Actions as a Result of Executive Session
- There were no actions as a result of executive session. However, at a celebration held earlier in the day, community members voted to call the town's new, locals-only housing development "Southface."
Public Comment
- Paul Seidman expressed concerns with speeds on Chamonix Lane. He also asked for additional signs regarding the requirement for engine brake mufflers on I-70.
- Emily Kramer, Julie Kiddoo and Corey Lamothe, representing Speak Up, Reach Out, gave an update on the organization and suicide rates in Eagle County. They shared available mental health and suicide prevention resources available. Help is available by calling or texting 988 anytime, day or night. For local support, call 970-306-4673.
- Jackie Ernst and Anne-Marie McDermott of the Bravo! Vail Music Festival thanked the council for their sponsorship. They provided an overview of the upcoming festival, the economic impact of the events, and highlighted the appearance of the Chamber Orchestra of Europe.
- Tom Neyens of Ski and Bike Valet in Lionshead is asking about the council’s stance on high-powered e-bikes. He also mentioned there is not much enforcement of e-bike speeds in town.
- Tim McMahon asked for a police presence or private security at the Vail Transportation Center and an update on the emergency plan for I-70 closures. He also asked about parking revenues received during the GoPro Mountain Games.

- Approved Resolution No. 28, Approving an Intergovernmental Agreement between the Town of Vail and the State of Colorado to Allow for the Department of Defense, Through the State of Colorado, to Donate Certain Excess Personal Property to the Vail Police Department (5-0)
- Approved Resolution No. 29, Approving an Intergovernmental Agreement between the Town of Vail and the Vail Recreation District for Internet Services and Information Technology Services (5-0)
- Approved Change Order with 4240 Architecture Inc. for Arrive Vail - Vail Transportation Center Expansion Phase II Concept Design (5-0)
- Approved Contract Award to Group 14 for Dobson Arena Building Envelope Special Inspection (5-0)
