Town of Vail 2025 Summer Managed Parking begins May 30

By now you have probably heard that the Town of Vail has approved summer managed parking. The season will be from May 30 to Sept. 28.

What does this mean for you?

As an existing parking passholder from winter 2024/25, your pass will be automatically extended with no additional initiation fee for use in the summer of 2025 - no action is needed to continue using your pass during the summer season.

You will receive discounted daily rates and/or lot access, depending on pass type:

• Premier Pass - Free access at all locations, with the exception of event parking at Ford Park and Soccer lots. Parking availability is not guaranteed.
• Vail Village and Lionshead Business Premier Pass - Free access at their respective structures. Parking availability is not guaranteed. 
• Employee Plus Pass - Day rates are free at all locations, with the exception of event parking at Ford Park and Soccer lots. Free overnight access will be granted at Lionshead structure and Red Sandstone Garage.
• Employee Pass - Day rates are free at the Lionshead and Red Sandstone structures and charged at the Local Pass discount rate at the Vail Village structure, Ford Park and Soccer lots with the exception of event parking at Ford Park and Soccer lots. 
• Vail and Eagle County Local Pass - Day rates are two hours free, $1 per hour after that, maxing out at $5 per day at all locations, with the exceptions of event parking at Ford Park and Soccer lots.

The credit card linked to your pass usage will incur charges for summer parking fees beginning May 30. If you need to update or change your credit card, please make changes online at townofvail.ubipark.com. Login and confirm your online account prior to the season and reprint your pass if needed.

The parking pass sales office will open beginning Wednesday, May 14 from 8 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. on Tuesdays through Fridays throughout the summer.

Vail Transit will be offering an enhanced summer bus service pilot program beginning May 26, the schedule will be release in the coming weeks at www.vail.gov/bus. The Core Transit summer bus schedule began today, April 14, and is viewable at coretransit.org.
