Evenings of Engagement is a series of events aimed at adults, with the purpose of offering exciting, interesting, fun or educational experiences.

Acoustic Eidolon
Acoustic Eidolon, featuring Joe Scott on double neck guitjo and Hannah Alkire on cello are from Colorado and have graced stages throughout the US, Europe, Australia and Canada. With eleven CDs and a DVD to their credit, these masterful artists continue to captivate audiences throughout the world with their signature “new acoustic” sound and boundless possibilities in blending Celtic, Folk, World & Latin music influences, something that Dirty Linen Magazine praises as “a sumptuous musical feast.”

THE JOY OF JOURNALING WITH ABIGAIL

Join us! at the library as we write with journaling prompts.
The Joy of Journaling series is all about setting intentions and reflecting on the last month as we journal together. Each month there is a different theme with a few journaling prompts. Come as you are. No one will be asked to share anything but there is space for you if you want to share. This will be on the library's back lawn if weather permits or in the community room. *Snacks will be provided!*

Our Walking Book Club is a fun, social outing. Come even if you have not read this month's title. Instead, share what you are reading with the group.
We will meet in the library's Galleria and head out for a discussion of August's Books 'n Bites title, ”The Passenger” by Lisa Lutz.
