REMINDER: Expedited Permits are Available!
Expedited permits allow for the planning staff and the building staff to concurrently review a project, as needed. This will generally save time and usually these small projects can be turned around within a week. Please remember that the expedience of the review rests entirely upon the quality of your submittal documents and drawings. Too much information is never a problem! Also, make sure you have your HOA or joint property owners approval (if necessary) prior to your permit application. Here is what you can do under an “expedited permit”:
- Expedited permit applications can be made for the following class of structure:
- Single-family Home
- Two-family Home (duplex)
- Townhome
- The following types of work are allowed to be performed under the “expedited permit” type:
- Re-roof (with proof of Class A assembly)
- Window replacement (no additional windows or changes in window sizes)
- Hot water heater swap
West Vail Master Plan
West Vail Master Plan: Project Team Will Present Draft Plan in Upcoming Webinar
Members of the West Vail Master Plan project team will present the draft West Vail Master Plan in an upcoming webinar open to the public. At this webinar, which will take place from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 13, the planning team will provide a summary of the master planning process and engage in a conversation with the public about the draft plan. Participants will be invited to participate in virtual polling and to offer general comments. All interested community members are encouraged to sign up for the presentation. REGISTER HERE
