NATURE PROGRAMS FOR ALL AGES
Vail Public Library will celebrate Earth Day with a nature hike! Are you ready? Cricket will have a Take & Make bag ready for you by Friday, April 16, or if you want, just email Cricket for the details at cpylman@vailgov.com. Otherwise, go on your own version of a nature hike and let us know what you found! Since Vail Public Library is still closed to in-person programs, we are going to offer several Earth Day activities for you to do on your own! The first one is to take a nature hike! Feel free to check out one of our kids backpacks! The library also has Colorado State Park backpacks: This includes a day pass to the park!
The second activity is a virtual Earth Day story time and Take & Make at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, April 21, on Facebook Live.
The library's third Earth Day program will also be done virtually. Let's make a start-up indoor garden project to get you ahead of the season! Take & Make kits will also be ready on Friday, April 16. The video of the start-up indoor garden project will be available at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, April 21, on the VPL Facebook page.
