Register for Winter/Spring 2025 recreation programs and activities
The Winter/Spring 2025 Recreation Guide is here and it's packed with events and activities taking place across Superior from January through April. Online registration for all Town of Superior Winter/Spring recreation programs and activities is now open!
These seasonal guides are your go-to source for all the fun happening in Superior, coordinated by the Town's Parks, Recreation and Open Space team. There is something for every age and interest, including:
- sports & fitness
- art & music
- wellness
- school break camps
- teen & senior activities and so much more!

Snow Busters program is in need of volunteers this winter season. Sign up now!
Volunteer for the Snow Buster program to help out your neighbors and keep the community safe! The Snow Buster program exists to assist residents who report they are physically AND financially unable to remove snow, sleet and ice from the sidewalk adjacent to their property remain in compliance with Municipal Code 11-1-20.
If you are looking to help others this winter, you are in the right place! Volunteers will be assigned to a community member who needs assistance with snow removal.
To volunteer, complete the Snow Busters program application.

Your lift to the lifts is back with Snowstang
The slopes are covered and so are you, thanks to CDOT's Bustang! Leave your car and load your gear on Snowstang. All weekends and holiday Mondays, Dec. 14 to May 4, you can catch a ride to Arapahoe Basin, Breckenridge, Loveland, and Copper without the parking battles. Enjoy WiFi, restrooms, and comfy seats each way. Riders can get 25% off tickets through the end of the month with code LAUNCH24 at RideSnowstang.com.

Long awaited Coyote-Hawk sculpture installation to take place on Dec. 17! Be prepared for traffic disruptions.
Be on the lookout for a new sculpture coming to the median on S. Indiana St. near Mt. Sopris Parkway and Eldorado K-8! The installation process will take place on Tuesday, Dec. 17, approximately noon through 3 p.m. Traffic control signage and flaggers will start setting up by 11 a.m. There will be a one lane closure on Indiana to accommodate a small crane and flatbed semi-truck. The timeframe will avoid interference with the Eldorado PK-8 bell schedule.

Get ready for the Superior Community Center's newest art exhibit
Starting on Jan. 10, In My Orbit, by Superior resident, Andrew Vaughan, will be available to view at the Superior Community Center (1500 Coalton Road).
Join us for the opening reception to celebrate his photographs that feature unique perspectives of the sun on Jan. 16, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Attendees can meet the artist and enjoy light bites and beverages. The exhibit will be on view from Jan. 10 through March 31.

Tennis Holiday Camps keep families active over winter break
A variety of tennis camps will be hosted this holiday season, promising something for all ages and skill levels. If you're looking to keep your family busy during winter break, join us the weeks of Dec. 23 and Dec. 30 (excluding Dec. 25 and Jan. 1) at the North Pool Courts (1650 S Indiana St.) for some tennis fun! Scheduling is flexible, and you may sign up for all or part of each camp.
Class occupancies are limited. Weather permitting, classes will be held at temperatures above 40 degrees. Should classes be canceled because of inclement weather, refunds will be issued accordingly.

Welcome Createry Workshops to the 2025 recreation program lineup
Createry Workshops is one of the newest additions to programs that will be offered at the Superior Community Center in 2025. There are many ways to get involved with their mission to connect kids, families and adults through arts, crafts and creative experiences. Enjoy Pre-K Storytime, a variety of art camps, teen workshops, birthday parties and more!

Holiday Sing-Along brings festive cheer to the Superior Community Center
Bring your voice and your good cheer for a great time to socialize with your neighbors and sing some holiday classics! Meet at the Superior Community Center (1500 Coalton Road) on Dec. 16, 6 to 7:30 p.m.
This event will be sure to lift your spirits and diffuse some of your holiday stress! Copies of music will be available at the event. Registration is not required.

The Superior Community Center will be fully closed Dec. 24-25 for the observance of Christmas, will close at 2 p.m. on Dec. 31 for New Year's Eve and will be fully closed Jan. 1 for the observance of New Year's Day.

Four rounds of feud-style trivia. Teams go head to head, and the two top-scoring teams battle it out in a championship round. There's no cost to play and a lot of fun to be had!

Calling all musicians! Sign up for a free Open Mic Night to play to a supportive audience of peers and surrounding community members in a professionally hosted, live performance setting!
