Help your kids ride smart: The importance of e-bike safety
E-bikes are becoming increasingly popular, especially among young riders. They provide a fast and convenient mode of transportation. However, e-bikes can reach higher speeds than conventional bikes and require more operating skills.
It's essential for parents to educate their children about e-bike safety. By ensuring that children understand the fundamentals—such as wearing helmets, obeying traffic laws and staying alert to their surroundings—parents can instill confidence in young riders and help prevent accidents.
Not sure where to begin? Check out this recent e-bike safely email from Boulder County – it’s packed with helpful links and resources on e-bike safety and stay tuned for more information from the Town.
