Superior launches Community Engagement for Comprehensive and Transportation Plans
The engagement will last several months with both digital and in-person opportunities to share your input and feedback.
What will Superior look like in 10 to 20 years? Can you imagine it? Would you like to be a part of creating it? We are beginning the process of getting key stakeholder input on creating a Comprehensive Plan and a Transportation Plan.
Municipalities prepare for the future through a Comprehensive Plan, a guiding document for decision-makers and Town residents that includes a vision for what kind of place they want to be. It uses a framework of goals, strategies and actions in order to achieve this vision. It includes topics like land use, transportation, housing, economic vitality and community resiliency. Also included is a Future Land Use Map that more specifically identifies where and how Superior might change over time.
Over the next several months, you will have the opportunity to share your feedback through a series of in-person and digital engagements.
You'll find three ways to engage: A survey to help us understand the Town's biggest opportunities and challenges, an interactive map for you to let us know your favorite places in Superior, and a big-idea board for you to share your big ideas about the Superior Marketplace.
