In 2022, the Town of Superior approved its first Sustainability Action Plan to curb the impacts of climate change and other negative impacts to our health and environment, as well as help our community adapt to the changes we are already experiencing.
We have made great progress towards our goals in the last two years, and we are proud to share a new, interactive Sustainability Action Plan Dashboard that presents status updates on the 100+ actions, key performance indicators and goals laid out in the plan.
Our hope is that this easy-to-use dashboard will provide transparency on the Town’s progress to date and that it can be a place to share sustainability successes and demonstrate our commitment to achieving our goals. The dashboard also highlights where work and investment are still needed.
Thank you for being part of our sustainability journey as we take action on climate change, increase community resilience, invest in a greener economy and ensure an equitable opportunity to thrive for all residents.

Town launches Zero Waste Coupon Program to boost business recycling and composting
The Town is launching a new program to support zero waste at businesses! A $650 Zero Waste Coupon is now available to Superior businesses that sign up for new recycling or compost service. Interested businesses should fill out the zero waste coupon form and then can sign up for service with the hauler of their choice. To claim the incentive, businesses commit to a minimum of one year of new recycling or composting services. The coupon will help offset some of the costs of starting up service and will promote waste diversion in our community.
