Over the past year, the Town has worked hard to understand housing issues, and the first draft of the Strategic Housing Plan is ready for your review!
To get us to this stage, we've offered multiple surveys, conducted a Housing Needs Assessment, held open houses to hear from residents and answer questions, and conducted interviews with housing professionals. This is described in the Summary of Public Outreach and Engagement. All of these efforts helped inform the Town's first Strategic Housing Plan. In the coming years, funds will become available through Boulder County and the State of Colorado to support potential housing efforts. This plan will help guide future decision-making and programs related to housing in Superior.
The plan is centered around three objectives:
- Increase Housing Choices for People
- Support and Promote Local and Regional Affordable Housing Efforts
- Remove Housing Barriers for Those Who Often Encounter Them
