Superior Cemetery open to the public for Memorial Day weekend

Did you know that Superior has a historical cemetery? The Superior Cemetery, located at 2580 Central Park Way in Downtown Superior, has rich pioneer history. It is the final resting place of 90 former members of Superior, with 50 marked graves, including two Civil War veterans. The earliest grave dates back to 1873.

The cemetery will be open May 24 through May 27, from dawn until dusk. Residents are welcome to visit, but please respect the cemetery's special nature.

Please remember to:

Keep the gate closed at all times
Do not litter
Many gravestones are unstable, so please do not touch or make rubbings on them
