New season of youth and adult tennis kicks off in April. Registration for spring program opens Feb. 19
Along with programs for youth and adults, Coach Charlie will be offering a special elite players category that is sure to please those with advanced skills.
In addition to all of this, weekly round robin competitions called will be offered complete with points, standings and season-ending prizes.
Do you need a private lesson? We've got you covered there, too. Private lessons will be available for all levels.

Epic AI Art Workshop offered by CAPS committee
The Cultural Arts and Public Spaces (CAPS) advisory committee is hosting a FREE workshop on how to use generative artificial intelligence (AI) for artmaking. Get an introduction to the platforms that all the new artists are using, and get in the game! You'll experience a handful of free and paid services that use generative AI using normal English language to create visual and musical art pieces.
The workshop will be offered Feb. 24 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Superior Community Center (1500 Coalton Rd.)

SYLC offers second annual Stem-A-Thon Feb. 24 for children 6-12 years old
The Superior Youth Leadership Council (SYLC) will once again host STEM-A-THON, a free event on Saturday, February 24, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Superior Community Center (1500 Coalton Road). Local high school groups will lead fun STEM-based activities, including marshmallow tower building, math puzzles, hour of code, Rube Goldberg machines, and more!
This free event is open to youth ages 6 - 12, and registration is encouraged. (Drop-ins are welcome, but space is limited, and registered participants will have first priority.) Parents do not need to participate with their child but must remain in the building.

Learn the history of Superior at the Interim Historical Museum open Mar. 3 at 112 E. William St.
Mark your calendars and come visit the Superior Interim Historical Museum – open the first Saturday of the month from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Grasso Park Bungalow (112 E. William St.).

We're also making progress on the Historical Museum Rebuild project at its original location in Asti Park. Construction is moving along, and we are still on track to finish later this Spring.

Superior SNAPS wants to see your amazing, adorable and adventurous pet photos!
Get ready Superior residents! Our annual photography contest is coming soon and this year we want to see your PETS!
Superior Pet SNAPS will feature photos that are beautiful, humorous, in-action or that simply capture your pet’s personality.
Opening day for photo submissions is March 21, so go ahead and get snapping! You never know when you'll capture that perfect image.

Superior Community Center hosts Purple Park art
If you haven’t seen the array of paintings on display at the Superior Community Center (1500 Coalton Rd.) there is still plenty of time!
The Plein Air exhibit features 16 artists who in their own unique way depicted the beautiful surroundings of Purple Park. The paintings on display were created by both professional artists and youth mentees who participated in the fall 2023 Plein Air event.
The exhibit will be up through March 29 and most of the paintings are available for purchase.

Snapology Animation Studio - March 25-29 from 9 a.m. to noon at Superior Community Center Create amazing movies with stop motion animation using LEGO bricks. Children will work in teams to produce their very own movie complete with dialogue and sound effects. Movies are uploaded to a secure site for family and friends to enjoy! Snapology Wonderful Wizards - March 25-29 from 1 to 4 p.m. at Superior Community Center Are you ready for spell-binding fun! Art and Science - A Fusion of Creativity - March 25-29 from 9 a.m. to noon at Superior Community Center In this extraordinary "Science Meets Art" camp, kids will create unique hands-on art projects inspired by science and explore the words of master-scientists like Leonardo Da Vinci.

Join our team as a Water Fitness Instructor
The Town is looking for a Water Fitness Instructor who can make a splash with their exceptional skills! The instructor should be able to provide specialized instruction in aquatics, educate various age groups on fitness and safety, and monitor and maintain a safe and enjoyable learning environment. This is a new program in its first year; bring your creative energy!
