2023 Arbor Day Celebration on April 29
at Superior Commons Athletic Field
Join us for the Town's annual Arbor Day Celebration and the ribbon cutting for the new Superior Commons Athletic Field (located at 2250 Creek View Way) from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 29.
Spend the morning with family and friends while celebrating the tree planter's holiday and another year of the Town's Tree City USA designation. It's a fun community event for all ages. No green thumb required!
In addition to tree planting and celebrating, here's what you can expect:
- New Superior Commons Athletic Field ribbon cutting
- SavATree will provide 400 ready-to-plant tree seedlings. Additional seedlings will be given away by Bartlett Tree Experts.
- Vargas Property Services will offer seed packets and Superior specific educational information.
- Green-focused entertainment and educational opportunities
- Food Trucks (offering a full menu for purchase)
- Family-friendly entertainment featuring a live DJ and performers, face painters, jumpy castle, Knocker Ball, games, STEM & art stations and more!

What to bring: The event will go on rain or shine, however it is expected to be a nice spring day! Bring water, sunscreen, and a blanket or chairs.
Location: Superior Commons Athletic Field is located at 2250 Creek View Way in Downtown Superior.
Parking: Parking at the field is very limited; please plan to bike, walk, or carpool. (Additional parking is available at the garage structure adjacent to Blue Sport Stable.)
