Last Week's Town Meeting Recaps

Planning Commission Meeting
02.01.22

During Tuesday’s Planning Commission Meeting and Work Session, the commissioners took public comment and held a discussion with staff regarding the Town’s path to rebuilding after the Marshall Fire. The commissioners also elected David Harper to serve as Planning Commission Chairperson and Lonny Rose to serve as Planning Commission Vice Chairperson. The Commission finalized their 2022 Work Plan to be submitted to the Town Board for approval.

Superior Youth Leadership Council (SYLC) Meeting
02.02.22

During Wednesday's meeting, the Council addressed the Marshall Fire and its impacts on the community and the Work Plan. SYLC postponed the T-shirt and STEM projects in order to make room for new items that are more fitting. More planning was put into Parent’s Night Out, along with the new Youth Reading Session, Mental Health and Job Fair projects. SYLC will be partnering with Lasagna Love rather than sponsoring a canned food drive.
