On Monday, January 24, the Town of Superior Board of Trustees approved the 2022 Sustainability Action Plan. Over 100 actions are proposed in this plan to curb the impacts of climate change and other negative impacts to our health and environment, as well as help our community adapt to the changes we are already experiencing. During this challenging time of loss, recovery and rebuilding in our community, the Superior Board of Trustees, Advisory Groups and staff are taking the necessary steps to shape a more sustainable and resilient Superior. Adoption of this plan is the first step to ensure we reduce our community’s impact on climate change, increase community resilience, invest in a greener economy, and create equitable opportunity to thrive for all residents.
