From Xcel Energy:
With repairs progressing on the natural gas system in Superior and Louisville, Xcel Energy has restored natural gas service in some areas and begun relighting pilot lights for customers’ appliances. Crews continue to do an extensive assessment to determine the extent of damage to Xcel Energy’s natural gas infrastructure. Work will continue over the coming days, and crews will work around the clock to restore all customers who can accept service as soon as possible. With the information currently available, we expect that most customers will be restored by end of day Tuesday.
As of early this afternoon (Jan.1), about 700 of the 13,000 customers in Superior and Louisville who were without natural gas service have been restored, with more expected today. As repairs are completed on additional sections of the system, service will be restored for many customers in additional areas between today and Tuesday, January 4.
Repairs and Restoration Happening Across Nine "Regions"
