Crime Prevention Reminder – Lock Your Doors

Following reports of recent car break-ins and garage burglaries, the Town of Superior and Boulder County Sheriff’s Office are requesting the community’s assistance in mitigating these crimes of opportunity. A large percentage of the vehicles that are trespassed, garages that are burglarized and vehicles that are stolen have all been left unlocked. Crooks are opportunistic and are often seen on home surveillance cameras checking vehicles and homes that are left unsecured. Please contact the Sheriff’s Office immediately at 303-441-4444 (or 9-1-1 if deemed an emergency) should you see anyone checking car doors or looking into open garages. Help us catch these people by reporting suspicious people or activities right away.

Please remember to lock your cars and close your garage doors!
