New Walk-Up Pool Access Option for Residents - Read Below for Full Details

We are pleased to announce a new addition to North and South pool usage procedures. Starting July 27, walk-up pool access will be available for residents in order to maximize pool capacity during recreational swimming sessions. Here are the details:

  • Walk-ins will be taken on a first-come, first-serve basis 20 minutes after a session starts to fill any no-show reservations.
  • Pool maximum occupancy is 50 people. Once that threshold is reached, no more walk-ins will be admitted, even if individuals leave during the session.
  • We encourage walk-ins to not show up until 20 minutes after a swimming session starts. Please line up on the 6-foot markings outside the pool front doors.
  • All walk-ins will check into the pool using the Amilia app (Apple, Google Play) on their phone and using the bar code from their digital pool membership. Residents must have a digital pool membership prior to arriving at the pool.
  • Walk-in participants must be age 14 & over to access the pool independently. Individuals under age 14 must be accompanied at the pool by someone age 14 or older.
  • In-advance pool reservations for any given week will continue to be made available on the Wednesday prior at 9:00 AM. Remember, only three reservations per week. Violation of this policy could result in cancellation of your week's worth of reservations.
  • Residents with an existing reservation must show up within the first 20 minutes of their swimming session or risk losing their spot.

Important Information Regarding Pools

The Town of Superior has worked hard to make pool access available and safe for all participants and staff.  Please remember this important information as you use the pools this summer.

  • Policies and procedures at Town pools are for the purpose of your safety, the safety of other residents and the safety of Town of Superior staff.
  • The Town of Superior is following the guidance of Boulder County Public Health. We are still under the Safer At Home Guidelines. Boulder County cannot move to the next phase until certain criteria are met.
  • Remember that a lifeguard's primary responsibilities are to enforce pool rules and regulations, keep people safe at all times and respond to emergencies. They are not the overall decision-makers and cannot discuss reservation policies.
  • For any concerns, issues, problems and/or suggestions, please email the Parks, Recreation and Open Space Department at tospros@gmail.com or call 303-499-3675.
