How do I know if I live in the recall election’s senate district?
Due to redistricting, your senate district may have changed. The September 10 recall elections will only be available to eligible electors in Senate District 3 in Pueblo Countyand Senate District 11 in El Paso County. You can verify your senate district by visiting GoVoteColorado.com and clicking the “Manage My Registration” link. Enter your name, zip code and birthdate to verify your voter registration and see your current senate district.
You can also review the maps to see if you live in Senate District 3 or Senate District 11.
I need to update my voter registration before the recall election. When can I do that?
If you have a driver’s license or Colorado-issued ID, you can register online at GoVoteColorado.com by September 2.
If you’ve been a Colorado resident for at least 22 days before the election, you can also register in-person at your polling place.
When will I receive my mail ballot?
Due to the tight timeframe of these recall elections, the county clerks will hold in-person voting at polling places. Mail ballots will not automatically be mailed. You should not expect a mail ballot, even if you have previously signed up to receive mail ballots. Voters in Senate District 3 and Senate District 11 who cannot vote in person can request that a ballot be sent to them by filling out and returning this form to their county clerk.
My son/daughter just left for school. How will they vote if they can’t vote in person?
Students and other voters who cannot vote in person may request a ballot by filling out and returning this form.
Where can I vote?
In both recall elections, voters can cast their ballot at any of the polling places within the county.
