Secretary Williams: Krug, Unger, Larson and Phillips make the ballot
DENVER, April 19, 2018 -- Secretary of State Wayne Williams announced today that three legislative candidates and a state Board of Education hopeful have successfully petitioned onto the ballot.
Democrats Guinn Unger Jr. and Jacque Phillips, and Republican Colin Larson are candidates for the General Assembly. Democrat Tim Krug is running for the state Board of Education seat in Congressional District 4.
Unger, of Bayfield, is running for the seat in Senate District 6 now held by Sen. Don Coram, R-Montrose. Here are Unger's numbers:
- Required: 1,000
- Turned in: 1,538
- Rejected: 349
- Accepted: 1,189
Phillips, of Thornton, is running for the seat in House District 34 now held by Rep. Alex Winkler, R-Northglenn. Here are Phillips's numbers:
- Required: 871
- Turned in: 968
- Rejected: 85
- Accepted: 883
Larson, of Littleton, is running for the seat in House District 22, now held by Rep. Justin Everett, R-Littleton, who is a candidate for treasurer. Larson faces Frank Francone, who got on through the assembly, in the GOP primary. Here are Larson's numbers:

- Turned in: 2,154
- Rejected: 996
- Accepted: 1,158
Krug, of Franktown, is running for the Board of Education seat now held by Debora Scheffel, R-Parker. Here are Krug's numbers:
- Required: 1,000
- Turned in: 1,484

- Accepted: 1,252
