Webinar Wednesday: Accessibility Audits and Remediation - Where to Start
The Colorado legislature passed HB21-1110 requiring all Colorado governments to meet current WCAG guidelines for accessibility compliance by July 1, 2024. If you aren't sure where to start to accomplish this goal, then this webinar is for you! Allyant believes every organization's journey toward equitable access should be simple and seamless - eliminating the worry, stress and uncertainty often associated with accessibility. Learn from the team at Allyant how to address all aspects of accessibility, including digital, document and print mediums. Register to join us on December 13th at 10am!

Digital Accessibility required by the State of Colorado by July 1 2024

This month, the Technology Accessibility Program (TAP) team in the Governor's Office of Information Technology launched the Empathy Lab, a virtual inclusion and awareness lab designed to expand awareness and a desire to create accessible and equitable digital products. The lab features an experiential learning site with 19 exercises designed to show, rather than tell, the power of accessibility.

OIT's November accessibility newsletter has more about this as well as an Accessible Procurement Toolkit for the State, and How To Write Great Alt Text.
