Micro-Grant Success
Collections Management and Registration Department of History Colorado
As we reach the deadline (January 18th, 2019) for applications for this year's Micro-Grant cycle, it is interesting to look back on all of the various types of projects that have been successful with the help of a SIPA Micro-Grant.
The Collections Department at History Colorado was awarded a SIPA Micro-Grant as part of the 2017 grant cycle in an effort to put archaeological articles online for anyone to find. The project goal was to increase digital access to the museum’s historical archaeology collections and was accomplished through the grant funded digitization of over 325 records which can be found here. The History Colorado team works hard to make sure that their collections and information can be accessed by as many community members as possible, and this is just one of the most recent examples of their dedication.
