Maker of the Month: Sarah Snyder
Each month, the Art Spot Silverthorne Makerspace highlights a Maker of the Month to showcase the talented artists and creators in our community.
Sarah Snyder grew up surrounded by creativity, inspired by her mother, a talented artist. Watching her paint instilled an early love of art, along with the lasting advice to “trust the process,” which continues to guide Sarah’s creative journey. As a child, she had a little craft spot in the basement where she would make art for hours. After some time away, Sarah has returned to her artistic practice with fresh energy and commitment.
She deeply values the supportive nature of the Art Spot community, where "knowledge is shared so freely and everybody has been so welcoming." Each visit provides Sarah with the chance to strengthen her skills, experiment with new techniques, and discover new approaches to her work.
Sarah’s goal is to learn as many skills as possible and finds inspiration in the simplest of places, "I want to create something out of every drawer in the art spot! I love opening drawers and finding inspiration."
