Silverthorne Town Council Announces Vacant Council Seat
As of Aug. 1, the Silverthorne Town Council officially has a vacant seat on the Town Council. After seven years of service on the Silverthorne Town Council, Kelly Baldwin has resigned, creating a vacancy. Baldwin is resigning due to family health needs and relocation to a different part of the state. Town Staff and Council thank Baldwin for her dedicated service and commitment to Silverthorne.
Silverthorne Town Council is seeking letters of interest for the vacant council seat, and the appointee will serve as a Council member until the next municipal election in April 2026. Candidates must be a registered voter and have resided in the Town of Silverthorne for at least one year prior to appointment.
Resumes and letters of interest are due to the Silverthorne Town Clerk by Monday, Aug. 11 for consideration. The Town Council will review letters of interest and hold interviews for selected candidates later in August. The new Town Council member will be appointed at the Aug. 27 Town Council meeting.
