Maker of the Month: Jeff Johnson
Each month, the Art Spot Silverthorne Makerspace highlights a Maker of the Month to showcase the talented artists and creators in our community.
After taking a beginner pottery class at the Art Spot, Jeff Johnson began his artistic journey. He found that ceramics is a great way to unplug for hours at a time and has been having a lot of fun creating pottery. Jeff enjoys making his ceramics at the Art Spot because the people are friendly and encouraging, the space has everything he needs, and the hours are flexible.
While Jeff's recent ceramic work is his first real delve into the art world, he is already selling his pottery at Piante Pizzeria in Breckenridge. As he continues to grow his craft, he hopes to learn new forms and perfect his bowl work.
