Summer Program Registration Opens Tuesday, April 8 at 7 a.m.
Registration for summer programs at the Silverthorne Recreation Center will open on Tuesday, April 8, at 7 a.m. Summer programs run from June through August.
Summer youth programming offers a variety of exciting activities! Kids can enjoy skateboarding, sports camps, nature and science camps, swimming, and so much more.
Adults can also participate in a wide range of summer programs, including pickleball, dance, boot camp and more.
Programs at the Silverthorne Recreation Center fill quickly. For the best registration experience, please contact the Silverthorne Recreation Center at recreation@silverthorne.org or 970-262-7370 with any questions about registration, your account, or the login process before registration day.
Scholarship applications for program participants are available online here.

Easter Holiday Hours
On Sunday, April 20, the Silverthorne Recreation Center will have adjusted holiday hours:
- Facility: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Pool: 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Upcoming Programs
|
Take a dance class with your little one! Music, movement, balance and basic dance steps are introduced in a fun and friendly manner in this class that includes mom, dad, or another loved one actively participating in the class along with the little dancer. Explore creative movement and basic dance through songs and play!
|
Beginner and advanced beginner basketball enthusiasts will learn ball handling skills and game basics through drills and scrimmages. Teamwork, sportsmanship, and fun are incorporated into each class, and all levels of players are welcome. This class is for 3rd, 4th and 5th graders.

Get ready for boating season at the Silverthorne Recreation Center! The Bring Your Own Kayak program reserves the pool exclusively for kayaks and paddlers, allowing kayakers to practice rolls and tricks.

Discover the joy of hoop dance with a certified Hoop Love instructor. In this beginner-friendly class, participants will learn new tricks, build coordination, practice balance, and explore creative flow using hula hoops of all weights and sizes. Have fun practicing mindfulness and self-expression in this inclusive class.

Upcoming Events
Friday, April 4 at the Outlets at Silverthorne Join the Town of Silverthorne for a special April First Friday Rollerama celebration at the Outlets at Silverthorne Blue Village! Head to the Outlets from 4 to 8 p.m. for free roller skating, free skate rentals, music from DJ Nathan Yan, and learn how to paint on an expression wall from an Art Spot instructor. Food will be available from Lonchera Titi and Thirsty Pika Taproom will be serving up drinks. Stop by the surrounding Outlet stores for free arts and crafts activities.

Friday, April 18 at the Silverthorne Pavilion Enjoy an evening of guided lessons from 7 to 8 p.m., followed by open dancing until 10:30 p.m. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and drinks will be available for purchase at the bar. Admission is $10 per person.

Friday, April 25 at the Silverthorne Pavilion The Silverthorne Pavilion invites you to Noche de Baile Latina for an evening of bachata and merengue lessons from 7 to 8:30 p.m., followed by open dancing until 10:30 p.m. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and drinks will be available for purchase at the bar. This free event is open to all, regardless of dance experience.

April Schedules
Spring is here! Get ready for your favorite summertime activities with a fitness class at the Silverthorne Recreation Center! The Silverthorne Recreation Center offers a variety of drop-in fitness classes like Pilates, yoga, Muscle Madness, water fitness, and more. Keep an eye out for pop-up classes this month!
Please note that reservations are required for cycling classes and 9 a.m. Muscle Madness classes. These classes are included in daily admission, but reservations are required due to limited space. Reservations are available 24 hours before a class and walk-ins may be accepted only if space is still available.

The aquatics area features a variety of pools and amenities suitable for people of all ages and interests. Bring your family in for a fun-filled day of play or unwind in the hot tub after a day outdoors.
Aquatics Waitlist: Due to the required lifeguard-to-patron ratios, the number of people allowed in the aquatics area may be restricted at times. When capacities are reached, guests will be placed on a waitlist to ensure the safety of our visitors. The front desk staff will collect contact information and will text those on the waitlist when space becomes available in the aquatics area. Thank you for your understanding and support as our lifeguards strive to provide a safe environment.

Grab your friends and family and head to the gym for a game of basketball, volleyball or pickleball. Be sure to check the schedule before your visit to ensure your activity is available.
Plus, new this month, the Silverthorne Recreation Center is now offering women's drop-in basketball on Monday evenings from 6:15 to 8 p.m.!

Silverthorne Recreation Center Expansion Project
The Silverthorne Recreation Center expansion project is getting ready to begin! With a groundbreaking set for later this spring, patrons will begin to see site work and utility work taking place in the expansion area. More information on construction timing and potential facility impacts will be available soon. In the meantime, stay tuned to our Recreation Center expansion project webpage for the latest informaiton.
