March First Friday Rail Jam
Slide into March at the eighth annual First Friday Rail Jam on Friday, March 7 from 5 to 8:30 p.m.! Watch as over 100 skiers and snowboarders compete for cash prizes in four different categories on a custom rail course set up on the Silverthorne Performing Arts Center lawn. Enjoy live music from DJ BKellz, food and drinks from La Perla, and watch the competition or register to participate in the rail jam.
Registration for rail jam participants is available online and is $10 per person.
Rail Jam Timeline
- 4 to 5 p.m.: Competitor registration and practice
- 5 to 6 p.m.: Ski qualifiers
- 6 to 7 p.m.: Snowboard qualifiers
- 7 to 7:45 p.m.: Ski finals
- 7:45 to 8:30 p.m.: Snowboard finals
- 8:30 to 10:30 p.m.: After party at Angry James Brewery with Shakey Hand String Band

First Friday Tips
- Walk, ride your bike, carpool or take the free Summit Stage to First Friday as parking is limited.
- Drink responsibly and designate a sober driver.
- No outside alcohol is permitted at First Friday events.
- While well-behaved, leashed pets are allowed at outdoor Silverthorne events, please note that May First Friday is very crowded and it may be best to leave your four-legged friends at home.

Meet the Silverthorne police officers, learn about department operations and the new Silverthorne Police facility at this free, interactive, community event. All are welcome.

Thursday, March 13 at the Silverthorne Pavilion
The Silverthorne Pavilion invites you to Noche de Baile Latina on Thursday, March 13. Instructor Michael Marin will teach the Bachata and Merengue from 7 to 8:30 p.m., followed by open dancing until 10:30 p.m. This FREE event is open to all, regardless of dance experience. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and drinks will be available for purchase at the bar.

Enjoy an evening of guided lessons from 7 to 8 p.m. followed by open dancing until 10:30 p.m. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and drinks will be available for purchase at the bar. Admission is $10 per person.
