Registration for spring programs at the Silverthorne Recreation Center will open on Tuesday, March 4 at 7 a.m. Spring programs run from April to May.
Spring youth programming offers a variety of exciting activities! Kids can enjoy a themed cooking class, Oodles of Noodles, along with volleyball, basketball, gymnastics, and swimming programs. Science and nature-based programs will take place at North Pond Park, providing easy access to outdoor spaces for hands-on learning.
Adults can also participate in a wide range of spring programs, including Zumba, volleyball, and pickleball. Plus, dance programs for all ages will be gearing up for a recital on May 18.

Upcoming Programs

Register as a team of two in this rotating pairs tournament. Each team will play together throughout the entire tournament. All teams advance to a second day of play. Game records determine placement for the second day, and winners of the tournament.

Discover the joy of hoop dance with a certified Hoop Love instructor. In this beginner-friendly class, participants will learn new tricks, build coordination, practice balance, and explore creative flow using hula hoops of all weights and sizes. Have fun practicing mindfulness and self-expression in this inclusive class.

This water fitness class focuses on keeping your back helathy, with exercises that target proper alignment and your core to create a challenging water workout.

Get ready for boating season at the Silverthorne Recreation Center! The Bring Your Own Kayak program reserves the pool for kayaks and paddlers with no lap swimmers to practice rolls and tricks.

Friday, March 7 on the Silverthorne Performing Arts Center Lawn Slide into March at the eighth annual First Friday Rail Jam on Friday, March 7 from 5 to 8:30 p.m.! Watch as more than 100 skiers and snowboarders compete for cash prizes in four different categories on a custom rail course set up on the Silverthorne Performing Arts Center lawn. Enjoy live music from DJ BKellz, food and drinks from La Perla, and watch the competition or register to participate in the rail jam.

Tuesday, March 11 at the Starbucks at the Outlets at Silverthorne Join the Silverthorne Police Department for a cup of coffee on Tuesday, March 11 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Starbucks in the Outlets at Silverthorne. Meet the Silverthorne police officers, learn about department operations and the new Silverthorne Police facility at this free, interactive, community event. All are welcome.

Thursday, March 13 at the Silverthorne Pavilion The Silverthorne Pavilion invites you to Noche de Baile Latina on Thursday, March 13. Instructor Michael Marin will teach the Bachata and Merengue from 7 to 8:30 p.m., followed by open dancing until 10:30 p.m. This FREE event is open to all, regardless of dance experience. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and drinks will be available for purchase at the bar.

Friday, March 21 at the Silverthorne Pavilion Enjoy an evening of guided lessons from 7 to 8 p.m. followed by open dancing until 10:30 p.m. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and drinks will be available for purchase at the bar. Admission is $10 per person.

March Schedules
Stay strong for winter activities with a fitness class at the Silverthorne Recreation Center! The Silverthorne Recreation Center offers a variety of drop-in fitness classes like Pilates, yoga, Muscle Madness, water fitness, and more. Keep an eye out for pop up classes this month!
Please note reservations are required for cycling classes and 9 a.m. Muscle Madness classes. These classes are included in daily admission, but reservations are required due to limited space. Reservations are available 24 hours before a class and walk-ins may be accepted only if space is still available.

The aquatics area hosts many different pools and amenities for people of all ages and interests. Bring your family in for a fun day of play or soak in the hot tub after a day outside.
Aquatics Waitlist: Due to the required ratios between lifeguards and patrons, the number of people allowed in the aquatics area may be restricted at times. When capacities are reached, guests will be placed on a waitlist to ensure the safety of our visitors. The front desk staff will collect contact information and will text those on the waitlist when space becomes available in the aquatics area. Thank you for your understanding and support as our lifeguards strive to provide a safe environment.
