Personal training is a great way to get started, keep going, or move forward with your exercise regimen. The Silverthorne Recreation Center offers single sessions, semi privates and group training with personal trainers certified through a nationally recognized organization. The Silverthorne Recreation Center has several new personal trainers on staff that can help community members achieve their fitness and athletic goals.

Spring Programs
Registration for spring programs will open on Tuesday, March 4 at 7 a.m. Programs will be available for viewing online on Feb. 18.

Get ready for boating season at the Silverthorne Recreation Center! The Bring Your Own Kayak program reserves the pool for kayaks and paddlers with no lap swimmers to practice rolls and tricks.

Explore hip mobility exercises in shallow water to increase your range of motion and strength while stretching your knees and hips.

Embark on a journey where science and art come together in the frosty wonders of winter! In this hands-on, fun-filled class, young explorers will dive into the science of winter while expressing their creativity. From studying snowflakes and icicles to learning about winter weather patterns and animal adaptations, children will discover how nature comes to life during the cold months.

This youth multi-sport camp will provide kids with the opportunity to explore different sports by playing organized games that promote teamwork and sportsmanship. Sports may include soccer, basketball, football, volleyball and/or racket sports. All levels of players are welcome and will be challenged to their abilities.

Friday, Feb. 7 at the Silverthorne Pavilion This February, Silverthorne’s First Friday celebration will honor the diverse cultural influences of our community with a Wish Lantern Festival. Drawing inspiration from Mexico’s Noche de Candela and the Lunar New Year, February First Friday will honor cultural traditions as we welcome a new year with our friends and neighbors.

Friday, Feb. 14 at the Silverthorne Pavilion Join the Town of Silverthorne for a night of laughs at a special Valentine's Day Comedy Show featuring Preacher Lawson on Friday, Feb. 14 at the Silverthorne Pavilion. Doors will open at 6:00 p.m. and the show will begin at 7:30 p.m. and will run approximately 90 minutes.
Preacher Lawson is best known for his appearance on season 12 of "America's Got Talent" where he made it to the final round. After his stellar performance, Lawson was invited to compete on "America's Got Talent: The Champions" and "Britain's Got Talent: The Champions" where he advanced to the finale after receiving the most fan votes. His first stand-up special "Get to Know Me" premiered on BET+ in 2019. Most recently he has been on "The Tonight Show." He has completed a residency hosting "AGT Live" in Las Vegas and continues to perform at sold-out venues around the country.

Friday, Feb. 21 at the Silverthorne Pavilion Enjoy an evening of guided lessons from 7-8 p.m. followed by open dancing until 10:30 p.m. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., admission is $10.

Saturday, Feb. 22 at the Silverthorne Pavilion The Silverthorne Pavilion invites you to Noche de Baile Latina on Saturday, Feb. 22. Instructor Michael Marin will teach the Bachata and Merengue from 7 to 8:30 p.m., followed by open dancing until 10:30 p.m. This FREE event is open to all, regardless of dance experience. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and drinks will be available for purchase at the bar.

February Schedules
Summit County School District Winter Break is Feb. 24 through 28. With kids out of school, gymnasium and pool schedules will be impacted. Please check the schedules for availability.
Stay strong for winter activities with a fitness class at the Silverthorne Recreation Center! The Silverthorne Recreation Center offers a variety of drop-in fitness classes like Pilates, yoga, Muscle Madness, water fitness, and more.
Please note reservations are required for cycling classes and 9 a.m. Muscle Madness classes. These classes are included in daily admission, but reservations are required due to limited space. Reservations are available 24 hours before a class and walk-ins may be accepted only if space is still available.

The aquatics area hosts many different pools and amenities for people of all ages and interests. Bring your family in for a fun day of play or soak in the hot tub after a day outside.
Aquatics Waitlist: Due to the required ratios between lifeguards and patrons, the number of people allowed in the aquatics area may be restricted at times. When capacities are reached, guests will be placed on a waitlist to ensure the safety of our visitors. The front desk staff will collect contact information and will text those on the waitlist when space becomes available in the aquatics area. Thank you for your understanding and support as our lifeguards strive to provide a safe environment
