 Sledding
Enjoy the simple pleasures of winter with a day of sledding at Rainbow Park or Maryland Creek Park. Families with little ones will want to head to Rainbow Park for its gentler slopes, while older kids and adults will want to try the larger hill at Maryland Creek Park.

 Ice Skating
From December through early March, the town of Silverthorne plows and maintains the free ice rink at North Pond Park, a local favorite. Bring your own skates (and hockey sticks) anytime from dawn to dusk. Warm up in the adjacent hut.

 Snowshoeing
Snow enthusiasts have a host of snowshoeing adventures accessible via the area’s myriad of trailheads. Check out Angler Mountain Trail, Salt Lick Trail, or Lily Pad Lake. Wild Ernest Sports, Gore Range Sports, and Blue Valley Ski & Board Rentals rent snowshoes.

The Raven at Three Peaks Nordic Center
In the winter, the nearby Raven Golf Club at Three Peaks transforms into a free Nordic center. When enjoying the Nordic trails at the Raven Golf Club at Three Peaks, please remember to stay out of the roped areas around the golf course and stay on the trail. No sledding, walking, or dogs allowed.
