Recreation Center Winter Hours
Winter hours of operation will begin at the Silverthorne Recreation Center on Saturday, Nov. 2 and last through May 31.

Monday through Friday: 5:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Aquatics Hours: 6 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
-
Saturday: 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Aquatics Hours: 7 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
-
Sunday: 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Aquatics Hours: 8 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Registration for winter programs at the Silverthorne Recreation Center will open on Tuesday, Dec. 3 at 7 a.m. Programs at the Silverthorne Recreation Center fill quickly. For the best registration experience, contact the Silverthorne Recreation Center at recreation@silverthorne.org or 970-262-7370 prior to registration day with any questions about registration, your account, or login process.
Winter programs will be available to view online on Nov. 19.

Upcoming Programs

Learn to play the fastest growing sport in the nation! Join the Silverthorne Recreation Center for an overview of pickleball including skills, scoring, rules and basic strategy.

Take the "work" out of workout by mixing low and high-intensity moves for an interval-style, calorie-burning, dance fitness party. Once the Latin and World rhythms take over, you'll see why Zumba Fitness classes are often called exercise in disguise.

Discover the joy of hoop dance with a certified Hoop Love instructor. In this beginner-friendly class participants will learn new tricks, build coordination, practice balance, and explore creative flow using hula hoops of all weights and sizes. Have fun practicing mindfulness and self expression in this inclusive class.

This drop-in program allows all levels of middle school aged youth to play volleyball. Each Monday, participants warm up and practice skill development and practice through games like fast 4's, king/queen of the court, and scrimmages. Already know you love volleyball? Sign up for the full six-week program at a discounted rate.

Upcoming Events
Friday, Nov. 1 at the Outlets at Silverthorne The Town of Silverthorne is honoring and celebrating Dia de los Muertos and the vibrant Latine community living in Summit County at November First Friday. In partnership with local community members, a Dia de los Muertos celebration will be held on Friday, Nov. 1 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Outlets at Silverthorne Blue Village. During First Friday, attendees can enjoy face painting, live music and dancing, traditional food and drinks, crafts for kids, a photo booth, and a pinata.

Friday, Nov. 15 at the Silverthorne Pavilion Enjoy an evening of guided lessons from 7 to 8 p.m. followed by open dancing until 10:30 p.m. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., admission is $10.

Saturday, Nov. 16 at the Art Spot Silverthorne Makerspace Head to the Art Spot Silverthorne Makerspace for an open house on Saturday, Nov. 16 from 3 to 8 p.m. Enjoy live music, take a tour of the Art Spot, shop local handmade artwork and meet the resident artists. Community members and experienced artists can also get certified to use the ceramics, woodshop, printmaking and jewelry equipment.

Thursday, Nov. 21 at the Silverthorne Pavilion Join the Town of Silverthorne for a celebration of cultures from around the world on Thursday, Nov. 21 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Silverthorne Pavilion! Learn about food, currency, traditions, languages, music, dances and more from our international neighbors living in Summit County.

November Drop-in Schedules
Get ready for winter with a fitness class at the Silverthorne Recreation Center! The Silverthorne Recreation Center offers a variety of drop-in fitness classes like Pilates, yoga, muscle madness, water fitness and more.
Please note reservations are required for cycling classes and 9 a.m. Muscle Madness classes. These classes are included in daily admission, but reservations are required due to limited space. Reservations are available 24 hours before a class and walk-ins may be accepted only if space is still available.

The aquatics area hosts many different pools and amenities for people of all ages and interests. Bring your family in for a fun day of play or soak in the hot tub after a day outside.
Aquatics Waitlist: Due to required ratios between lifeguards and patrons, the number of people allowed in the aquatics area may be restricted at times. When capacities are reached, guests will be placed on a waitlist to ensure the safety of our visitors. The front desk staff will collect contact information and will text those on the waitlist when space becomes available in the aquatics area. Thank you for your understanding and support as our lifeguards strive to provide a safe environment.

Silverthorne Recreation Center Expansion Project
The Silverthorne Recreation Center expansion project is expected to begin in Spring 2025 with an estimated completion date in Fall 2026. This project is the culmination of extensive planning efforts, aimed at enhancing the existing facilities with a 23,000 square-foot addition, designed to meet the evolving recreational needs of our community. This expansion reflects Silverthorne's ongoing commitment to fostering a vibrant, active lifestyle for residents and visitors. The Recreation Center Expansion Project is funded by the Town of Silverthorne's 8% lodging tax.
