Registration for winter programs at the Silverthorne Recreation Center opens Tuesday, Dec. 3 at 7 a.m. Join the Silverthorne Recreation Center this winter for fun adult and kids programs like gymnastics, volleyball, swimming and more. Winter programs run from January to March.
Programs at the Silverthorne Recreation Center fill quickly. Please be prepared to log in online at 7 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 3 to sign up for programs. For the best registration experience, contact the Silverthorne Recreation Center at recreation@silverthorne.org or 970-262-7370 prior to registration day with any questions about registration, your account, or login process.

2025 Program Registration Dates
The Silverthorne Recreation Center has changed its programming to four seasons: winter, spring, summer and fall. Registration dates for 2025 programs are:

Winter: Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2024 at 7 a.m. for January through March programs

Spring: Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at 7 a.m. for April and May programs

Summer: Tuesday, April 8, 2025 at 7 a.m. for June through August programs

Fall: Registration date to be determined for September through December programs

Membership Rates to Increase in Jan. 2025
Silverthorne Recreation Center membership rates will increase on Jan. 1, 2025. Current 2024 rates are available for pass renewal until Dec. 31 at 5 p.m. Standard memberships may be purchased or renewed online here.

Upcoming Programs
|
Kids can play organized indoor sports like dodge ball, kickball, tag and more in this FREE program. Kids will be split into appropriate groups before an hour full of games and fun. Space is limited, so register today!
|
Join other pickleball players in continuous, competitive, round robin play. Sign up as an individual player as you will be paired with other partners throughout the mixer. Mixers are available for novice through advanced players and are a great way to meet other people who share a love for pickleball.

Kids can learn sports, explore creative movement and self-expression, or discover where science and art come together during the winter months in one of these new programs for school aged youth.

Little ones can learn to dance, or explore the world of dinosaurs, in these two new programs at the Silverthorne Recreation Center. These fun classes introduce tots to movement and music, or nature-play and hands-on activities.

Friday, Dec. 6 at the Silverthorne Pavilion
Celebrate the holidays with the Town of Silverthorne at December First Friday! Head to the Silverthorne Pavilion on Friday, Dec. 6 from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. for the annual holiday tree lighting ceremony and holiday art market. Sip on hot chocolate as you shop unique wares from local artists and enjoy live music, carolers, holiday crafts and more. Community members will also be able to visit with Santa himself.
The holiday art market continues on Sunday, Dec. 7 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Silverthorne Pavilion for more holiday shopping.

Sunday, Dec. 15 at the Art Spot Silverthorne Makerspace Find the perfect holiday gift at the Art Spot's Holiday Maker's Market! Shop the Maker's Market at the Art Spot Silverthorne Makerspace on Sunday, Dec. 15 from noon to 5 p.m. for a holiday themed shopping event featuring artists that create at the Art Spot. Enjoy refreshments and live music as you shop for hand-crafted holiday gifts.

Sunday, Jan. 5 at the Silverthorne Recreation Center Join the Town of Silverthorne for a memorial walk and mental health fair in remembrance of Charlie Foster on Sunday, Jan. 5 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Silverthorne Recreation Center. Help reduce the stigma surrounding mental illness and learn about available mental health resources. Dress warm as the walk will be outside at Rainbow Park. The first 50 people will receive a commemorative mug. Hot drinks and sweet treats will be provided.

December Drop-in Schedules
Get ready for winter with a fitness class at the Silverthorne Recreation Center! The Silverthorne Recreation Center offers a variety of drop-in fitness classes like Pilates, yoga, muscle madness, water fitness and more.
Please note reservations are required for cycling classes and 9 a.m. Muscle Madness classes. These classes are included in daily admission, but reservations are required due to limited space. Reservations are available 24 hours before a class and walk-ins may be accepted only if space is still available.

The aquatics area hosts many different pools and amenities for people of all ages and interests. Bring your family in for a fun day of play or soak in the hot tub after a day outside.
Aquatics Waitlist: Due to required ratios between lifeguards and patrons, the number of people allowed in the aquatics area may be restricted at times. When capacities are reached, guests will be placed on a waitlist to ensure the safety of our visitors. The front desk staff will collect contact information and will text those on the waitlist when space becomes available in the aquatics area. Thank you for your understanding and support as our lifeguards strive to provide a safe environment.
