Courts Now Open

The courts at Rainbow Park and Trent Park are now open for tennis, basketball, pickleball and volleyball. Courts are available on a first come, first serve basis, so please be courteous and share space. A court reservation system will be available soon. Enjoy! 

Summer Hours Start June 1 

Summer hours at the Silverthorne Recreation Center will begin on Saturday, June 1 and run through Sunday, Sept. 29. 

Monday - Friday
Hours: 5:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. 
Aquatics Hours: 6 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Saturday
Hours: 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. 
Aquatics Hours: 7 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Sunday
Hours: 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Aquatics Hours: 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Totally Nature Camp

Kids can unlock the secrets of nature as they get up close and personal with insects, worms, and plants. Explore animal bones, tracks, and fur; learn how many hearts a worm has; and what it might feel like to be a bird using a beak to find food. Plus, kids will use the power of the sun to create art and make their own snacks!

Silver Chefs may not quite be "Iron Chefs" but we're working towards that distinction! This hands-on class gives participants a challenging, yet kid-friendly kitchen experience creating healthy and fun meals from breakfast to dinner and everything in between.

Open Gym Gymnastics

Whether you are a gymnast, cheerleader or training for something special, we welcome you to use our gymnastics equipment. Each week bars, beam, vault and floor will be set up and optional equipment can include tumble track, rings and trampoline.

May Drop-in Fitness Schedule

Try a fitness class at the Silverthorne Recreation Center! The Silverthorne Recreation Center employs over 30 certified fitness professionals with 20+ years of experience; providing safe, effective, creative and fun classes.

Please note reservations are required for cycling classes and 9 a.m. Muscle Madness classes. These classes are included in daily admission, but reservations are required due to limited space. Reservations are available 24 hours before a class and walk-ins may be accepted only if space is still available.

The aquatics area hosts many different pools and amenities for people of all ages and interests. Bring your family in for a fun day of play or soak in the hot tub after a day outside.

Aquatics Waitlist

Due to required ratios between lifeguards and patrons, the number of people allowed in the aquatics area may be restricted at times. When capacities are reached, guests will be placed on a waitlist to ensure the safety of our visitors. The front desk staff will collect contact information and will text those on the waitlist when space becomes available in the aquatics area. Thank you for your understanding and support as our lifeguards strive to provide a safe environment.

May First Friday Locals' Appreciation Party

Friday, May 3 on the Silverthorne Performing Arts Center Lawn
One of Silverthorne’s most popular First Friday events, the Locals’ Appreciation Party Sponsored by Locals Liquors, will be held on Friday, May 3 on the Silverthorne Performing Arts Center lawn from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. The event will feature free beer, wine and liquor tasting and live music from Stereo Transmission and the Chris Bauer Band. Donations to local non-profits are strongly encouraged. 


Art Spot Open House and One-Year Anniversary Celebration

Saturday, May 4 at the Art Spot Silverthorne Makerspace
Head to the Art Spot Silverthorne Makerspace for an open house and a celebration of the Art Spot’s one-year anniversary! Enjoy live music, take a tour of the Art Spot, shop local handmade artwork and meet the resident artists. Experienced artists can get certified to use the art equipment and a special buy one, get one free punch pass promotion for Art Spot daily admission will be available, in person only, during the open house.

Hit the beach in Silverthorne this summer at the Rainbow Park Sand Volleyball Courts!

Adult Sand Volleyball 

Join a sand volleyball league or sign up for an adult sand volleyball clinic to improve your technique through guided drills.

Beach Volleyball 101

Middle school youth will learn basic volleyball skills in a fun outdoor environment. Learn to pepper, pass, bump, set, spike and serve. Each week will include warm up, skill development and at least 1/2 hour of game time. Open to incoming 6th grade through 8th grade.
