The Town of Silverthorne is excited to unveil conceptual plans for a significant expansion to the Silverthorne Recreation Center (SRC). This project is the culmination of extensive planning efforts, aimed at enhancing the existing facilities with a 23,000 square-foot addition, designed to meet the evolving recreational needs of the community. This expansion reflects our ongoing commitment to fostering a vibrant, active lifestyle for residents and visitors, ensuring the SRC continues to serve as a central hub for health, wellness, and community engagement well into the future.

The expansion is anticipated to add 23,000 square feet of functional space, addressing key areas highlighted by community feedback and staff input. These areas include fitness, youth areas, a multi-activity court gym, circulation, administrative/staff areas and storage/support areas.

Do Exit 205 Right: Keep Wildlife Wild

Do Exit 205 Right and help keep wildlife wild. Colorado is home to tens of thousands of furry, scaly and feathered creatures. To keep them — and you — safe, make sure to keep you (and your dog’s) distance. And if you’re ever unsure, follow the rule of thumb: If you can cover the entire animal with your thumb, you’re at a safe distance.
