Silverthorne Recreation Center Unveils Expansion Concept Plan
The Town of Silverthorne is excited to unveil conceptual plans for a significant expansion to the Silverthorne Recreation Center (SRC). This project is the culmination of extensive planning efforts, aimed at enhancing the existing facilities with a 23,000 square-foot addition, designed to meet the evolving recreational needs of our community. This expansion reflects our ongoing commitment to fostering a vibrant, active lifestyle for residents and visitors, ensuring the SRC continues to serve as a central hub for health, wellness, and community engagement well into the future.
The expansion is anticipated to add 23,000 square feet of functional space, addressing key areas highlighted by community feedback and staff input. These areas include fitness, an area for licensed school-aged care, a multi-activity court gym, circulation, administrative/staff areas and storage/support areas.
