Kick Off the New Year at the Silverthorne Recreation Center
Enjoy the start of the New Year at the Silverthorne Recreation Center! With four pools, three water slides, an aquatic climbing wall, hot tub, sauna, steam room, fitness classes, spacious gym and more, there is something for everyone at the Silverthorne Recreation Center.
Sign up for a program or stop by for an afternoon in the aquatics center after a day spent outside. The Silverthorne Recreation Center winter operating hours are:

Monday - Friday: 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. Aquatics Hours: 6 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Saturday: 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Aquatics Hours: 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Sunday: 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Aquatics Hours: 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Upcoming Programs

Bump, set and spike your way to a great time! Get your friends together to create a team of two men and two women to join this recreational league. Two matches per night with rally scoring games to 21.

The Silverthorne Recreation Center offers a variety of ways to play Pickleball! Sign up for a Learn to Play session to explore one of the fastest growing sports in the country, check out a mixer to meet other players at your skill level, or sign up a younger family member for a Youth Pickleball program.
|
Explore basic elements of dance and gain body and spatial awareness, identify and regulate energy, and learn to move with a variety of music styles and tempos. This class will include creative movement games, basic ballet and modern dance exercises, and imaginative play. Dancers are invited to participate in a dance recital on May 19.
|
Home School/No School swim lessons provide children who learn at home or have a four-day school week with physical activity, social experience, and a critical life skill. Group lessons are formed first by age, but a child may be moved due to skill level.

January Drop-in Schedules
Try a fitness class at the Silverthorne Recreation Center! The Silverthorne Recreation Center employs over 30 certified fitness professionals with 20+ years of experience; providing safe, effective, creative and fun classes.
Please note cycling classes are included in membership and daily admission but require a reservation. Reservations for cycling classes are available 24 hours before a class. Walk-ins may be accepted for cycling classes only if space is available.

The aquatics area hosts many different pools and amenities for people of all ages and interests. Bring your family in for a fun day of play or soak in the hot tub after a day outside.
Aquatics Waitlist
Due to required ratios between lifeguards and patrons, the number of people allowed in the aquatics area may be restricted at times. When capacities are reached, guests will be placed on a waitlist to ensure the safety of our visitors. The front desk staff will collect contact information and will text those on the waitlist when space becomes available in the aquatics area. Thank you for your understanding and support as our lifeguards strive to provide a safe and secure aquatic environment.

Friday, Jan. 5 at North Pond Park and Maryland Creek Park Celebrate the start of the New Year at January First Friday with a night of winter fun! On Friday, Jan. 5, head to Maryland Creek Park for sledding under the lights and North Pond Park for ice skating and a polar plunge! Bring your own sleds and skates. Sunday, Jan. 7 at the Silverthorne Recreation Center Join the Town of Silverthorne for a memorial walk and resource fair to help reduce the stigma surrounding mental illness and learn about available resources in the community. Dress warm as the walk will be outside at Rainbow Park.

Friday, Jan. 12 at the Silverthorne Pavilion Enjoy an evening of guided lessons from 7 to 8 p.m. followed by open dancing and cash bar until 10:30 p.m. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and admission is $10.

Saturday, Jan. 20 at the Silverthorne Pavilion Join Arapahoe Basin Ski Area, Building Hope and the Town of Silverthorne for a showing of The Paradise Paradox on Saturday, Jan. 20 at the Silverthorne Pavilion. Produced by Olympic ski racer Bode Miller and Emmy Award-winning impact sports filmmaker Brett Rapkin, The Paradise Paradox explores the mental health crisis affecting America's mountain towns and the innovative solutions being developed in response. Doors open at 6 p.m. and film begins at 7 p.m.

Saturday, Jan. 27 at the Silverthorne Pavilion Sample beer and support the Summit County Rescue Group at the annual Brewer’s Rock for Rescue event at the Silverthorne Pavilion on Saturday, Jan. 27 from 5 - 9 p.m. Enjoy live music from Stereo Transmission and Float Like a Buffalo, beer from local Colorado Breweries and take home a commemorative glass.

Kid's Korner
Looking to get a workout or need some quiet time to work in the Silverthorne Recreation Center lobby? Let your little ones play and discover at Silverthorne Recreation Center's Kid’s Korner. Children ages 6 months to 6 years are welcome in Kid’s Korner while parents use the Recreation Center. Spaces are available first come, first-served during open hours.
Time in Kid’s Korner is limited to two hours per child per day. See attendants for detailed Kid’s Korner policies.
