 Sledding
Enjoy the simple pleasures of winter with a day of sledding at Rainbow Park or Maryland Creek Park. Families with little ones will want to head to Rainbow Park for its gentler slopes, while older kids and adults will want to try the larger hill at Maryland Creek Park.

 Ice Skating
From December through early March, the town of Silverthorne plows and maintains the free ice rink at North Pond Park, a local’s favorite. Bring your own skates (and hockey sticks) anytime from dawn to dusk. Warm up in the adjacent hut.

 The Raven at Three Peaks Nordic Center
In the winter, the nearby Raven Golf Club at Three Peaks transforms into a free Nordic center. When enjoying the Nordic trails at the Raven Golf Club at Three Peaks, please remember to stay out of the roped areas around the golf course and stay on the trail. No sledding, walking or dogs allowed.

Where Art Meets Adventure
At the center of Silverthorne's dynamic community is the Silverthorne Performing Arts Center, a 16,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility that is home to the renowned Theatre SilCo. Each year, the Theatre SilCo performs a holiday special featuring music, dance, comedy, caroling and more. This year's Haul out the Holly performance runs through Dec. 30.

Bringing the arts to life and making them accessible to residents and visitors is a key priority for the Town of Silverthorne and we are proud to host several public art exhibits throughout the year.
From contemporary murals to abstract sculpture and mixed media installations to hand-blown glass pieces, Silverthorne strives to present works that are multicultural, diverse, welcoming, relaxed, natural, creative, progressive, playful, colorful, adventurous and energized.

Enjoy a winter wonderland celebration at Maryland Creek Park and North Pond Park as we celebrate January First Friday with sledding, ice skating, snow sculptures, a polar plunge and more.

Saturday, Jan. 27 at the Silverthorne Pavilion
Sample beer and support the Summit County Rescue Group at the annual Brewer’s Rock for Rescue event. Enjoy live music, beer from local Colorado Breweries and take home a commemorative glass.

Celebrate Summit County's diverse cultures at First Friday's Wish Lantern Festival. Drawing inspiration from Mexico's Noche de Candela and the Chinese Lunar New Year, the Wish Lantern Festival will honor cultural traditions as we welcome a new year with our community.

Wednesday, Feb. 14 at the Silverthorne Pavilion
Join the Town of Silverthorne for a night of laughs at the annual Valentine’s Day Comedy Show. A Valentine’s Day tradition, the annual comedy show features popular national comedy acts from around the country. This years event features Josh Blue and Janae Burris.

Friday, March 1 at the Silverthorne Pavilion
Join the Town of Silverthorne for the annual First Friday Rail Jam. Enjoy live music, live art and more as skiers and snowboards vie for a cash prize.

Plan a car-free trip to Silverthorne by using transit options. Going car-free in the mountains helps keep cars off busy roads, and makes the trip easier when you don't have to worry about driving in mountain snowstorms!

Bustang or Pegasus can take you from Denver Union Station or the Federal Center to Frisco.
- Once you arrive, use the free Summit Stage to travel throughout the county. Or use local taxi services, as well as Uber and Lyft.
- There are multiple airport shuttle services to transport you from DIA to Silverthorne.
